WWII .50 Caliber Cartridge - Plaque




This World War II relic was fired from a U.S. fighter or bomber whose crew was preparing for combat, this .50 caliber Browning machine gun cartridge and links are a genuine piece of World War II history.  Notice that this cartridge is “head stamped” with the year of manufacture and the location of the arsenal from which it was made.

THIS IS AN INERT CARTRIDGE!  The bullet was originally fired back in the 1940's and this case was found on the battle field or old firing range. A separate original WWII .50 cal projectile (also found on the battle field or old firing range) was added back into it for display purposes only.  The bottom image is an example of the cartridge prior to plaque mounting.
