WWII .50 Caliber Belt - Polished

This belt of five (5) rounds were retrieved from an old WWII bombing/firing range in Arizona.  Each brass case and copper projectile was cleaned, polished and re-assembled to create this historic display.  This War relic was fired from a U.S. fighter or bomber or fighter whose crew was preparing for combat, these .50 caliber Browning machine gun cartridges and links are a genuine piece of World War II history.  All cartridges are head stamped with the year of manufacture, and the location of the arsenal from which it was made.  This clip will also come with a small history info sheet, describing the item along with arsenals.

The .50 caliber machine gun was use on many aircraft during WWII.

Just a few were the P-51 Mustang, F-4U Corsair and the B-17 Flying Fortress.
